Tony has completed a PhD in exercise and sports science at Charles Darwin University in Australia and is an Accredited Exercise Physiologist with ESSA. Having conducted over 50,000 training sessions in his career that has spanned 25 years, Tony is regarded as one of the premier personal trainers in the country.
Tony has been involved in education for over two decades, having held various educational positions at several universities in exercise science, physiotherapy and personal training. His Internship programs have been running for over 15 years and he presented his approaches to training and nutrition every year at the country's largest fitness conference FILEX for 17 straight years.
Having written strength workouts for elite athletes in 24 different sports, Tony is actively involved in strength & conditioning and providing educational seminars & resources for allied health professionals.
He has been an Adjunct Associate Lecturer at the University of the Sunshine Coast, a lecturer at the Australian Fitness Network, AIF, the Australian Catholic University (Schools of Exercise Science and Physiotherapy), NetFit New Zealand and New Zealand Weightlifting.
He currently is an editorial board member for The University of the Sunshine Coast's Fitness Research department and an editor for the Journal of Fitness Research, a member of the Australian Institute of Fitness Personal Training Advisory Panel and sits on an expert advisory panel for Fitness Australia.
Tony has written hundreds of health and fitness related articles and was the recipient of the 2004 Australian Fitness Industry’s Author of the Year Award. Tony is also a soft tissue practitioner and a certified Active Release Techniques® provider for the Long Nerve Tract, Spine, Upper & Lower Extremities.
He has held professional memberships of the American Society of Nutrition (ASN), the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM), the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS), the National Lipid Association (NLA), the American Nutraceutical Association (ANA), the Australian Strength & Conditioning Association (ASCA), The National Strength & Conditioning Association (NSCA) and is currently a member of Exercise & Sport Science Australia (ESSA).
In his spare time, Tony enjoys cooking (mainly Thai), playing guitar (mainly classical) and reading (mainly ancient history).
Tom has been working in the industry for over a decade and has been operating his personal training and athletics coaching business in Mosman for over six years. He has coached all ages and goals including; Injury Rehabilitation, Weight Loss, Postural Alignment, Improving Fitness, Strength For Performance and every day life.

Loosing 43.1kg has proved to be a long and sometimes difficult slog towards my goal. It was as a result of Debra's advice that I was able to refocus and make significant weight loss. In spite of my busy schedule, Debra advised me on the importance of restructuring food intake, reducing carbs, increasing protein and balancing meal content.
